Hotspot turning on and off

Since the last update, I have a strange problem. I turn on my Pixel 4XL's hotspot and have my Galaxy Tab S7+ try to connect. As soon as it connects, the hotspot turns off. I then turn on the hotspot again and try to connect. Sure enough, the phone turns off the hotspot. I have to do this a few times before it stays on and lets the tablet connect and stay connected.

I've found that restarting the Pixel fixes the problem, but the problem always comes back.

Anyone else have this issue?

I've been having this issue on my Chromebbook since I got it in January, very frustrating. I'll try restarting my Pixel before try to connect and see what happens. Seems to be hit or miss on connecting.
