HOW can I find out what's "really" taking up all of my internal memory? The math does not add up. I've deleted all of the apps that I know I don't need/want, yet my internal memory is crazy full. And why does the "system" need 9.97GB to operate??? I have a Samsung A12, 32GB of internal memory (which is at 30.5GB) and 3GB of RAM (which is at 2.1GB). I only have one game that could be a memory-hog, but when I delete it my memory is still at 18.9GB... I clear the cache regularly, and ALL my pictures and video is on the micro SD card.

System includes the OS (which is usually around 4-5 GB) as well as any preinstalled apps (aka bloatware). Samsung is notorious for adding lots of its own apps, and the carrier might add some as well. So 10 GB isn't that unusual for Samsung devices.

Certain messaging and social media apps (like Telegram or kik) can build up a huge cache, so check those apps in Settings>Apps.
