How can I turn on my tablet with a broken power button?

I dropped my tablet recently and jammed the power button so I couldn't turn it on. I got some help from a friend and they got me an app that let me turn on and off the tablet using the power button. But it died and it wont come back on.

Welcome to Android Central! There isn't any way to power on a device apart from the Power button. You'll just have to get the Power button repaired.
