How do I remove "Messages" app floating bubble icon?

I cant attached a picture- ?
When I get a text, my default "Messages App" puts an icon that is over everything else I can open. I can remove the message each time, move it around, etc. I dont want this icon to come up when I get a new text any more. I've searched online, this forum, through Android settings, and I cant for the life of me figure out how to stop this.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Notifications>Advanced Settings>Floating Notifications​ and turn off Bubbles there.
