How to Access micro SD Card

I installed a 32 GB micro SD card into my Samsung Galaxy SII. My device appears to recognize it in Settings | Storage since it shows Total space for the SD card as "29.71GB". However, I cannot figure how to browse to the card nor how to move files to it from within the Android OS. From within the My Files app, I cannot change directories from what appears to be the built-in memory since the "Up" icon is grayed out.

How do I access the microSD card by browsing to it and moving files to it?

Well, it appears there is a folder entitled "external_sd" that is some sort of mount to the micro sd card. I didn't see this before even though I had browsed through the list with the My Files app numerous times. I'm not sure how the user is supposed to just *know* that this is how the card is accessed...

So I don't need another app afterall. However, ES File Explorer seems a pretty nice full featured app. I'll have to play around with it.
