How to return to ice cream sandwich

Hi,i use galaxy nexus(yakju) running Android 4.2.1 but the problem i encounter is ram decreasing after update,it was recently running on android 4.0.4 ice cream sandwich with 1gb ram but after upgrading it remain only 649ram wich made me to hate my phone,so i was asking for your help of how to return my phone from 4.2.1 to ice cream sandeich

Welcome to the forums. A couple things to consider: Android likes having RAM full. It treats RAM differently from Windows desktops. As for the 649 MB, the OS will always take some before the user, roughly 200-300 MB, and then the apps that the phone needs to run. The 649 actually sounds about right.

As for reflashing the ICS OS, you would need a PC program called Odin, and the proper ROM file. For more info:
