How to root?

I want to root my motorola droid razr 4.1.2 I don't know how??

Apparently it can be rooted using this procedure Root Any Motorola Razr Running 4.1.2 - xda-developers or How to root the Motorola Razr D3 XT920
But i think the first one should work if not no harm trying the second one
