HTC amaze 4g screen is very dim, unreadable. Yet phone software is working fine. Is it fixable?
Had the amaze 4g almost 2 years. Never had any serious issues.
Last night the screen went black. The icons and screen appears to be working but without any actual light to show them. They are so dim you need the reflection of an outside sign to shine and see whats going on, and even then it is almost impossible. I noticed when someone called me it LIT up, then after afew minutes went dim again. I tried cleaning cache, and it worked for 10 minutes then dim again. Many times i would flick open the back case and it would LIT up then afew moments again dim. At the moment it is always DIM. It seems like there is an electrical problem which is not actually lighting up the screen, even though the screen is receiving the images.
Is this fixable?
