I can't move any apps to my sd card

I can't move any apps to my Sd card.

I was using a 16gb SanDisk card and thought maybe it was faulty so I just purchased a Lexar 32gb card yet I still have the same problem.

I am currently running android 8.1.0. Using a HUAWEI y6 2018

The option is not even available in Apps/Storage let alone greyed out.

I have tried using 3rd part apps but still I cannot move anything. They simply direct me to the same pages.

I have tried everything. I cannot even format the SD as the option is greyed out.

Help please!!!!

Welcome to Android Central! The "Move to SD" feature is not supported by all manufacturers, and I'm not sure if it's even possible any more in recent versions like Oreo. To use 3rd party apps like Link2SD or App Mgr III, you'd have to root the phone.

If the phone supports Adoptable Storage, then you'd have to format the card as Internal Storage. If the phone doesn't even recognize the SD card, then the card might be corrupt or faulty.
