t-mobile in Los Angeles is better than verizon in every way, price, Data coverage, less dropped calls.

and my phones are rooted and work beautifully.

It depends on where you are specifically, as I am also in Los Angeles and at my home and work, Verizon is way better. Of course since it works great where you need it then tmobile is a good choice for you.
