AC Question

I want an unlocked, bloatware free, premium phone.

I've currently with AT&T on the NEXT program. I have a Note4. When this term is up I want the same or similar phone but without all of the useless crap. What is the best way to go about this?

Welcome to Android Central! Either root your phone and eliminate the bloatware, or go Nexus.

Buy an international device, root a carrier model, or find a nexus device you like.

If you want to stay on AT&T and use a note 4 meeting those requirements then consider a t-mobile note 4. Install a custom ROM and you'll be golden.

Currently running Tekxodus ROM on my T-Mobile Note 4 on AT&T and loving it.

On my t-mobile Note 4, I use a program called "Package Disabler Pro" I recall it being a dollar or so, but it allows you to disable anything you want on the phone, even without root. This includes items that the "disable" feature is, well, disabled in the application manager. Once I cleared out the things (it doesn't delete them, it just very effectively hides them from the system) I didn't use, I now get almost two whole days of battery, and no shuddering, even with power save set to restrict cpu performance.
