i510 Droid Charge EMAIL APP???

We were told by Verizon that the Email APP on the i510 Charge phone would be disabled on 3/28/2014. My Charge phone email app still works as of 3/31/2014.

Can anyone tell me if the email app that originally came with the Charge phone is being disabled or will we be able to keep using the original email app that came with the i510 Charge Phone?

In other words, do we need to find a new email app?

They can't shut down the email app. You should be fine. They probably meant something else. If anything happens, I suggest CloudMagic.

When I contacted Verizon on the TXT you reference when I got it, they confirmed it was spam/hack/attack. I was instruced to forward the message to a special number for them to conduct a fraud investigation.

Apparently it's true, the e-mail app stopped working. The Verizion Support person I spoke to was wrong, the message wasn't a spam/hack/attack.

If you do not already have a replacement email app look through my earlier post for ideas. The one I now use is K9-EMAIL.
