IE Window

OK, so, I updated my CM7 to CM9 a couple of weeks ago (I think nightly version 20120423) and think the new CM9 is awesome. Kuddos to the dev team.

Question though.. I have noticed that when I open a browser and for example go to a music site and have audio playing, if I then decide to go to a different app (by hitting the android home button), the music playing on the IE app stops. If I reopen the IE window, the music resumes. I hit the android home button again, (in a sense to minimize the IE window), the music stops again.

Is there not a way to minimize the IE window and keep the music playing in the background?

What app is IE ? anyway not all apps are optimized for ICS yet which means they will go into a state of sleep rather than continue doing what they should be. There has been chatter of different web browsers doing this among other types of apps.
