Infuse will not charge

I've changed batteries, tried a half dozen different chargers but it will not charge itself. I can use a fully charged battery and it will work fine, it just will not charge itself. I've tried cleaning the terminal plug with a q-tip and some alcohol but no luck. Any ideas if this can be fixed? I'd like to hand this phone down to my son...

Welcome to Android Central! Sounds like you've already done everything you can. It may be that the microUSB port is faulty. You could bring it to a repair shop and see if they could replace it.
