Issue with Mirroring/DeX

Just bought a USB-C to Hdmi adaptor and it works like a dream, for a couple minutes then the mirroring screen stops showing my phone/dex until unplugged and plugged back in. The adaptor is still reading as connected however. I thought it may be a power issue so tried changing my monitors plug amp from 5-10 to even 13 but still happens. Any clue why?

Have you tried disabling DeX's AutoStart option? I'd still guess the cable is causing it (maybe changing voltages when heating up), but disabling this may help for now.
