Ha they make it a maze with Microsoft. Then mine disappeared! Two contact forms later, and responding to two emails and nothing. You wouldn't think something directly or indirectly associated with Microsoft would be a scam...but it seems to be!

It's interesting.

While we were in Best Buy, my husband thought it was the black model. In actual sunlight, it is a nice shade of aubergine & reflects hints of silver. So I am relieved.

Well it kind of solved itself. Microsoft Rewards appears to be a scam. Just have done further research. Even had we not gotten the credit already from Rakuten, it doesn't appear getting the 10% cashback from Microsoft would have been easy. Lots of reports online with people sharing their experiences.

As of now though I'm not sure I'm getting the Raluten....I am following up with them

Agreed lol. Not to start an Anglo-Franco-American incident, but aubergine is so much classier than eggplant.

Great! I think the main thing we've learned is that none of the colours look anything like the pictures.
