Re: [SOURCE][ALPHA][android_kernel_lge_msm7x27-3.0.x (3.0.8)]

bump.
source updated on cm-11.0 branch with battery temperature fix. no binary yet.
mine would power off when cold enough. and wouldn't stay on in android until warmed back up. inconvenient at best.

testing merge from androidarmv6. wifi updates (at least with my source, thought i'd pulled that from thekraven) and more. if it doesn't crash I'll push the changes.
//edit: nothing visibly broken... testing
git says something's incomplete on my merge, but there are some changes showing up.
it builds and seems to run ok... pushed it.
beta 4.
new binary uploaded. androidarmv6 merge plus fix battery temperature.

beta 5.
raise temp by *10 in a different part of code, apps were still reading it wrong.
increase lower CPU speed default to avoid kitkat clock lag. thanks thekraven.

I absolutely adore the development in this kernel. Is the battery life okay, with this kernel, since all the roms I flashed with this kernel I seem to get excessive battery drain or inaccurate readings on boot. Or is it just the rom itself.

This sucks down battery through bluetooth, wifi, gps, and 3g data. with those not in use and turned off it goes for a long time between charges.
But, most people use those radios... so battery life really depends on how heavily you use them.
and the battery readings on boot are probably why offline charging locks up. There are still things not quite kosher in the battery code... but it works about as well as I'm going to get it to I think.

If r1.3 has graphics fixes, why is it not posted in your google drive?
never zipped and uploaded it. Now I've moved on and don't have it.
source update was uploaded, though. and current rom releases have current kernel builds in them.
source now up to 1.4, various androidarmv6 fixes. I'll post a 1.4 binary by the end of the weekend.

r1.7
source uploaded
more bluetooth.
deselected aufs in config since it's not being used. Frees about 3Mb in /system without the module.

Squiddie, I think I found a bug in the r1.6. It undoes Skinbark's Optimus V buttonfix os2sd. I tried to reflash the buttonfix, same result. Any idea how to fix this?

isn't a bug... skinbark's kernel build has the keys set for Optimus S, which is opposite mine, hardcoded for the Optimus V. there are two button swap zips in the kernel OP, one of them should work.

r1.8! accelerometer fix. Been there for the whole life of the kernel, the p500 code to sleep the accelerometer is flat WRONG for thunderc. Seems to work OK now! Phone slept in my pocket for hours and still rotates. Maybe that'll can some of the battery drain without constantly trying to recalibrate.

I flashed r1.8 but now I can't scan for wifi network. My home network reads not in range. What should I do?
