LG G4 Charging Block(new) is hissing at me, what could it be?

LG G4 Charging Block(new) is hissing at me

A brand new LG G4 charging block emits an audible hissing sound.

If I bring it close to my ear like a sea shell, it becomes a ticking sound with a freq. of about 5 Hz. So it is NOT constant humming. Could it be an electric spark drawing power from the capacitors?

The sound persists for 4-7 seconds even if not plugged to the wall.
The charging block does not have to close the circuit with anything besides the wall to make the sound.

Among my various chargers, there are one or two that are similar. It may be something to worry about for all I know, but nevertheless I don't worry.

This happened to me with two nexus 4 chargers (LG product).

No one would believe me. It even happened to me with the LG official wireless charging cradle for the N4.
