Mobile broadband dongle... Can I do this?

I have a mobile broadband dongle which I've just now put in my network carrier sim card and using the unlimited all you can eat data in the dongle instead of my phone. What I was wondering because I will be using my sim card in my dongle instead of my phone more is there any application I can download on my windows laptop that will let me take and place phone calls, send and receive text messages and other things? Remember this is for a windows laptop... So please let me know thank you!
