I am new to the Android community as I just got my EVO 3D (1st Android phone). And I was wondering what are some top (preferably free!) widgets, apps and games.

I've found myself really into the widgets that you can customize and put on your home screen(s). Thanks for the help in advance!

Go launcher
Circle launcher- I currently have all my icons on 2 home screams!
Alphascope- handles my Twitter, fb, tumblr, and 4square needs all from one app!
Words with friends
Google music- keep only new tunes on there
Audio galaxy- gives me instant access to my library of 40K tunes! Google music only holds 20K and would take way too much time to upload.
Amazon app- after hitting snooze twice I need to check new free app of the day, part of my routine!
Contapps-
Wordpress- its latest updates have made it easier to use and gives me more controls, which is awesome

Some must have apps for your phone are: juice defender ultimate, thv weather, Tapatalk and app 2 SD. Those are some really good apps. Juice defender is an app to help double your battery life. Enjoy your EVO 3D
