My samsung galaxy note 2 is broken and doesn't turn on or connect to pc how can i get data from it?

Hi, a salt container fell on my samsung galaxy note 2 and it now doesnt charge or connect to pc. i tried charging it for 2 hours and then connecting it to the pc and press and hold the volume up, power and home button while i had samsung kies open but it still wasnt detected.

You probably can't, which is why we do backups periodically. (I have a Pixel, which gets updates the first Monday of every month, so I have a backup every month - first I back up, then I update. If the update bricks the phone to the point that even I can't bring it back [and it's almost impossible to hard-brick a Pixel without damaging the motherboard], I still have the backup to put on the replacement phone.)

So from now on, you'll make sure that anything important to you is backed up, right?

Welcome to Android Central! If the data is really important, you could look for a forensic data recovery specialist, but they can be reeeeeeeally pricey (like >$1000).
