Question Nokia 1.4 help

My Nokia 1.4 got set to a random password. Now I can't hard reset it. Not recognised after all drivers on windows 10/7 64-bit. Find my doesn't seem to work.

Welcome to Android Central! Any idea how it got set to a random password? That should never be possible. In order to set a password, you'd have to enter it, and then re-enter it to confirm. The chance of being able to confirm a randomly entered set of characters is pretty much zero.

Has this always been your phone, or did you get it from someone else?

Translation : I got a used phone that was already set up.
Answer : Security prevents this.

We used to get similar questions along the lines of "my 3 year old nephew was messing with my phone and accidentally changed the password, how do I get back into my phone?" That would mean the toddler somehow got to the Change Password option, entered the correct existing password, then typed in some random password, and then typed in that same random password to confirm. Impossible? I guess not, but probably about as possible as an infinite number of monkeys typing out the entire works of Shakespeare.
