Note 8: Samsung keyboard not automatically adding a space after selecting predictive text.

Hi everyone.

I'm using a Galaxy Note 8 and for as long as I can remember the Samsung keyboard 'Auto spacing' function does not work most of the time.

In the keyboard settings menu under 'Smart typing' the option for 'Auto spacing' after you've add a word using predictive text is enabled, yet it's 50/50 whether it inserts a space or not.

I have searched Google for a solution but what I find is only about how to enable or disable the function. However my search skills aren't very good and I've probably missed something so I thought I'd post here.

I'd be very grateful if you can help me out.

get a different keyboard, Gboard or Swiftkey are good. this is the probably reason I don't use the Samsung.
