Nougat on VZW GS7 bypasses most work security restrictions

This is pretty weird and potentially a big problem for IT administrators. After installing the Nougat update on my Verizon gs7, I can now enable trusted places and devices so now the phone doesn't lock, as it's designed. My work put restrictions on a bunch of things, like no trusted places and must have 6-digit password. I can now change all of those security settings back to how i like them and they all work, bypassing my employer's security settings. Maybe once they update the security policy settings it will go back to being enforced by as of right now, I can use all the restricted things.

I see it also. I was wondering why the lock didn't work some of the times and it did otbers. Maybe it's because finally the trusted places works for me.

Yep, trusted places and devices all work for me now too. Hoping my company doesn't update their policy any time soon and wipe out my new functions.
