I just received the A9 and it's going back tomorrow. I'm an HTC fan (M7&M8) and was really rooting for this phone. The processor isn't up to modern standards. I'm not talking about extreme gaming, just simple email and podcasts, there is hesitation all over the place. Syncing with Amazon music and the phone got very hot.
It's too bad, I liked their approach with the light version of Sense, and here are a lot of nice touches like being able to adjust screen temperature via a slider from cooler to warmer.
But if the processor is weak, screen is dim and speaker is weaker than an average speaker (not comparing it to Boomsound) it doesn't really matter what else is going on.
