pc not recognizing xperia xa2

[Android Central Question]

my pc or laptops will not detect my xperia xa2 no matter what I try I've downloaded and installed usb/mpt drivers into device manager, still no good , installed media feature pack as suggested, no good, the phone does come on and light up and start charging when plugged in to pc or laptops, it's like there's no usb connectivity in the phone for the pc to recognize, all my other phones connect perfectly, I'm really at a loss any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys

Welcome to Android Central! When you connect, swipe down the notification panel -- do you see a USB notification? If so, tap it and make sure it's set to MTP (or File Transfer).
