Android Central Question

my mom S7 edge mic spoilt, and i bought an mini external mic that plug in the 3.5mm jack, it's cheap and work instantly with plug and play.
But the problem is, the phone automatically disable receiver-speaker once i plug in hence the phone cant hear voice through it during phone call (the loudspeaker work if turn on), how can i use my phone call like normal (put by ear) with the external mic? thanks?

method tried:
-no "Media resumption" as it's android nougat
-"disable usb audio routing" wont work as well

The headphone port in your device is audio out only, it's by design only outputting an audio signal for things like earbuds, headphones, external speakers, etc. A microphone is for inputting audio so no, what you're attempting isn't going to work.

You need to get a USB microphone that will work with the USB port on your S7 Edge. Don't be surprised if you need to try different models of microphones, not all will be compatible out-of -the-box (some require the driver/firmware that's a part of an app you need to install).
