S2 distorts car phone bluetooth phone audio

Just got the most recent S2 uodate and still have this issue with my Note 8. If my S2 is not connected to phone via bluetooth (and only connection method I have is call audio) I get clear car audio.

When my watch is connected to the phone, and my phone connects to car, car phone call audio is distorted over half the time. It appears random.

But what is NOT random is if I disconnect my watch, the car audio is fine.

I have read many threads about problems connecting to car if watch is connecting, no but that is not this issue.

I also saw someone post a link on how you can turn off call audio....there is a slider on phone bluetooth to do that. And although it says paired, it is essentially disconnected for notifications too. Which is all I really want.I never use my watch for call audio.

Is there any solution to this or is the issue unique to retain cars?

Have a peek in developers options, there's a setting called "disable absolute volume".. See if that makes any difference..
