PROBLEM SOLVED!!! My Gear2 wouldn't connect with my Note3, even though it said I was paired. I disconnected my Gear 2 from bluetooth. It said it would do a factory reset. (No choice) In the process, I uninstalled all Samsung and Gear apps and reinstalled them before pairing the watch. Nicely, this did the trick, the watch paired, is connecting, and all is working beautifully now!

Hello, im having the same problem. My phone is the Note8 and have the GearS3. Every time I connect it to my phone after choosing the Gear in the app it would just load for a couple of minutes and tell me that it could not connect because of network. I have this problem since I bought the watch and would try everyday hoping for miracle to happen. So please if someone could help it would be nice.

In case anybody has the same problem, this thread solved all of my issues. I have a Nexus 5 with lineage OS, and I could not get google play store to install the app. It didn't show up in play store on my phone, and online it said the app wasn't available for my device.

Fortunately @j to the 4n has made resigned versions of all three necessary apps (gear plugin, samsung health, samsung accessories) - and the Samsung Gear S3 is working flawlessly again.

And a direct link to the drive folder, just in case: https://support.google.com/drive/an...r&visit_id=636727962071774853-3309740448&rd=1
Mirror 1, mirror 2

Thank you very much @j to the 4n.
