Samsung S4 Mini won't charge

Do you need a specific charger because my old kyocera charger doesn't seem to work,i know the phone works because when i purchased it,it was working?

Most modern chargers should be pretty much interchangeable. If your Kyocera charger is really old, it might not be standard. Or the cable or charging block might just be broken. Do you no longer have the charger that came with your S4 Mini? That's always the best one to use.
