Samsung S6 screen black after latest update

[AC Question]

This morning I woke up and my phone said the latest update has been installed during the night (Android 7)

3 hours later out of nowhere my phone screen turned black and only the little blue light is on.

IMPOSSIBLE to turn it back on!

I have tried everything

- Power + volume down
- Power + volume up
- Power + volume up + volume down
etc..

This CANNOT be a coincidence. my phone is only 2 years only old and was working perfectly, never fell down. literally perfect.

The new update probably broke my phone. What do I do now??

The update could have caused a problem with the device. I would suggest trying to clear the cache first via recovery to see if that helps. You can do this by using the following command when the phone is powered off:

Volume up+Home+Power.

It may take a few seconds so be patient. When you see the Samsung logo release the power button. Next you'll see the Android logo, at which point you'll release the volume up+home.
