Started happening a few weeks ago, now happens every few minutes (or more).
Basically the screen stops responding to input - not just the display part of the screen, but also the soft touch buttons next to the physical home button. I.e. the capacitive touch function.
The screen does not "freeze" in the sense whatever activity was happening still happens - the live background scrolls, music plays - the device is running and active, just the touch input has stopped working.
If I cycle the screen off and on using the physical power button, it comes back straight away, but then a few minutes later goes off again. This link on another forum has been talking about the issue for years: http://androidforums.com/threads/tab-s-10-5-screen-freezing.923917/
Wondering if anyone here had the problem or a solution.
