in the call settings on my DINC 2 Global mode is checked outa the box, if i picked cdma would that save more battery,better call quality or do nothing......i've been rocking this phone for a month and loving it, i will say my Blackberry Tour had more of a deep,rich,louder in-call quality.....Besides that i'm off the Crack (Berry) and in the DINC 2 army

Good question! I just set mine to CDMA only and will let you know if I notice any difference.

I have had my DINC 2 on both settings and have found no difference. I think the battery life depends more on the quality of the signal. The phone works harder to keep reception in a lower signal area.
