Really? Care to provide examples? In this thread all I've said is that there is something to the claim that the OP didn't get.
I'm here because I use the One as my daily driver. I switched from the iPhone because even with it being jailbroken I found the customization options limiting. I couldn't stand how data was siloed. I was really jealous of larger screens. When I discovered the One and saw how Android had evolved it was obvious to me that for me the One was a better device than anything else available.
Are you sure you don't have me confused with someone else? Apple makes some great products, but it's far from a company without faults. iOS get a disproportionate amount of crap in these forums, but that's to be expected. I'll state my opinion, but again I'm not an Apple apologist.
Here's the biggest frustration with a conversation/debate when there's a disagreement. When you KNOW you have consistently and frequently taken a specific stance or response to a situation, and you demand "examples" in order to prove what is already obvious. I recognize you for 2 things. Your EMT avatar with a firetruck in the background, and your frequent responses to people who say anything slightly negative about the Apple community. That's how I remember you specifically in these conversations. I will not go search for specific examples, because even if I posted each and every one to prove my point, you'd deny it, and switch your argument to something entirely different just like you've done with HalizDad in this very thread.
That being said, this thread alone pretty much proves my points that you asked for examples so I guess you could re-read it like you're telling everyone else to do. I know you use the One as your daily driver. I'm not telling you that you don't belong here or that you have to justify why. I'm saying that the fact you're here, proves that Apple isn't perfect or none of use would be here. Then I went on to say that because Apple hasn't fulfilled your need for a larger screen, and customizable options you should be pretty quick to say that Android fans are justified for being irritated by certain things.
I am okay with Apple fans saying Android is fragmented and that updates are inconsistent, and that they prefer the quality build of the iPhone. So why can't Apple fans return the hospitality when Android fans complain about the things that bother them about iOS and the filthy, filthy tactics that the company uses? No one wants to have someone else try to prove them wrong just because they've had a different experience. Especially when we're in the friendly confines of our Android forum. It's not like we've gone to iMore to stir up dirt.
You've told more than one of us that we've misunderstood you and we need to re-read your posts. Is it possible that maybe it ISN'T us?
