Using a Sprint S4 overseas...

What is the best method of making calls when overseas? I now have the S4, but may have a need for travel sooner than expected. Anyone now using the Galaxy for such, and how are you doing it? Thanks....

I don't travel internationally so I'm not going to be much help beyond that. I do know different areas of the world use different technologies (GSM vs. CDMA), so not all phones work everywhere.
