Question Vertical Line "pipe" key fills search

Hi, just about everytime I open message app or youtube and go to search for something the vertical line/pipe key just continually fills the search as if I am holding a key down on the keyboard. Rebooting doesn't seem to fix it but then it may not be a problem for 3 or so searches before it occurs again. I have experienced it in snapchat/youtube/sms so far and can't find anything online to help.

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Are you connected to a Bluetooth keyboard? When you see the cursor moving, does it actually seem to be typing something?

Can you show us a video of it happening? It works best if you upload the video to YouTube or your Google Photos and then share the link with us here.
