Video Calling

I've never attempted video calling. I'm on Verizon & see the dialer has a video camera icon but it doesn't do anything. I have advanced calling enabled. I know there are numerous apps for video calling. Do I need to utilize a 3rd party app? What app works for you?

What's the easiest way to video call between Android & iphone?

Probably the easiest way that i have found is using Skype
