Question Video duration control

I am trying to find a way to record video on my A03s continually, but to output the video files in 15 minute chunks.

That way I don't end up with one enormous output file.

And I'm not talking about stopping and restarting the video manually... I need it to run unattended.

That's going be tough, Android has so many built-in protection for screen burn in , battery power consumption, overheating to save your device from breaking and then Android security that can prevent all this your asking from happening.
Can try a tasker app not sure if it will do what you ask because of above, maybe you will need root to gain more privilege over what the manufacturer of your device offers , we can also see if other members have came across this situation but to me a phone not meant to be a stand alone video or camera like that.

That sounds discouraging... though I can do much the same thing simply by stopping the video and restarting it, so it seems redundant to try to block such a thing.
