Video Player in Portrait

I use to be able to watch videos in Portrait mode on the inner/main screen. This includes video based apps like Netflix, Plex, etc. After the last UI update, you can only watch in landscape mode. Why do they go backwards with things like this with updates? Sooooo annoying.

Because the use-case you are describing is what they call and "edge-case", meaning the utilization percentage of people that do it this way is too low to worry about the complaints.

This is just business decision making and sometimes it really just sucks.

Yeah, I have a few edge-cases that I use my phone for and have had to "invent" my own ways to get things done.

Did the latest update, and video in portrait mode works again. Seems like a glitch they caught on their own.
