Question Volume Drops When Browsing on Chrome

Hi, playing music on my Samsung A52s using Spotify. When browsing thegearpage.net, the music volume randomly drops by about 20%. If I go to another page on the browser then the volume returns to normal. I haven't noticed a volume drop on any other site on Chrome, just thegearpage. It also happens when listening to music on ibroadcast.

Any ideas to resolve this annoyance?

Welcome to Android Central! It's possible that some interstitial ad in that forum site might be trying to play audio as well. You could try a browser with better ad-blocking capabilities, like Firefox or Brave, just as a test.

Another possibility is the inbuilt Samsung Internet browser. It is good with ad blocking.

I'm going to have to try the Samsung browser.. I haven't actually tried it yet, and I didn't know it had ad blocking I'm using Brave for surfing and Chrome for business.

Thanks for the advice. I installed Firefox and browsing thegearpage on it works fine without messing with my music. Annoying that I can't get Chrome to play nice...
