What could cause my Boost Galaxy S3 to change to Central Time when near the ocean in Eastern time?

Recentry my Galaxy S III has been changing to Central Time when I'm well in the Eastern time zone. The towers in my area were recently upgraded to 4G, this is when the problem started. I do not have a data connection when using voice. If I set my phone to automatic time zone, when making a call, or on 3G data the time zone is correct. When I have a 4G connection only at the recently upgraded towers, the time zone goes to central. I was told by support to do a factory reset which solved the problem , but then it came back. Could an app be affecting this? The strange thing is that a weather widget from accuweather.Com always displays the correct time.

When I redid my Google log in, it downloaded all my old apps. Is there a way to narrow it down if it is an app. I'm going to be driving trucks cross country soon and keeping automatic time zone on would help a lot.

Thanks in advance.
