The default camera app for most devices is usually called Camera in app section of your settings.

When you say the camera has stopped working do you mean;

It no longer opens?

It opens but doesn't take pictures?

It opens, appears to take pictures but you can't find or see the pictures?

It opens, appears to take pictures but when you open them they are damaged or don't look as you intended?

Something else?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried it in Safe Mode? On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

On certain devices, you have to power off, then power back on, but when you see the manufacturer logo appear, press and hold Vol Down until the homescreen appears.
