Why are my notifications showing up as 2/3 instead of song name?

Help notifications showing up as 2/3 instead of song name

I made some ringtones with mp3s and when I add then to the ringtone folder and then click ADD it will add it with a normal name. Theres no feature to ADD in the notification folder so I just add them to that folder but most of them instead of the song name show up just as 1/2 and 2/3. Anyone know how to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which app are you using to make the ringtone? It might be an issue with that app. Try Ringdroid, which is an old reliable.

Good idea, ive been using mp3 spliiter joiner because its easier for me to use my pc to make ringrones. I will try that program and see if that solves my problem. Thanks

This worked! Thanks so much. I can just open any of the 2/3 named files in ringdroid and rename them and save them in my notification list. Thanks!

If anyone else has this problem to get rid of the 2/3 listed songs just delete the mp3 from the notification folder and the new created song is stored in media/audio/notifications folder if you want to back it up.
