Why do I have vertical lines on my Sony Xperia Z Ultra 4.4.4 build?

Im using an xperia ultra Z for sometime now, I'm encountering white screen intermittently, specially when the temp is cold, i tried to do hard reset, still the same. is there a fix? or it is a hardware issue?

Welcome to Android Central! That's almost certainly a hardware issue. Is it still under warranty?
