Why does this keep happening?

AC Question

Okay, so I haven't had any problems with this before, but recently, my RCA Android tablet will open The 'Okay Google' Thing by itself when I have headphones plugged in. I don't have any other pair of headphones, so I only use these. (Behringer). Ive done everything I can from disabling Google's use to my tablets microphone to trying to disable the TalkBack and Okay Google thing, but it keeps happening. Ive had this tablet for about 8 months, and ive taken good care of it. Is there anyway I can either Get rid of the "Okay Google" thing permanently or get it to stop opening it? Its really annoying me, as I can't listen to videos for more than a minute without it popping up.

Welcome to Android Central! Do those headphones have a microphone or remote control buttons? Can you try a basic pair of headphones that don't have either of those extra functions?

Also, make sure the headphone jack is completely clear of debris. Use a can of compressed air to blow it out.
