why doesnt my windows media player recognize my android tracfone?

I loaded my windows media player's songs onto my android TracFone. the problem is: I have a second phone (same model, same brand sd card), but the windows media player won't even recognize my second phone as being connected. so, I cannot sync it. what is wrong here?

Welcome to Android Central! Windows Media Player has never been very good with truly syncing music to Android devices. I'd recommend uploading your music library to your Google Play Music library in the cloud, which can then be accessed by any device that's logged into your Google account.

Which phone do you have, what Android version is it running, and what Windows version is your PC running?
