Will my AT&T V30 receive updates on Cricket?

So, I just got a cheap AT&T branded V30 off eBay and popped my cricket sim in. I knew it'd work, since at&t owns cricket, etc.

But, will I still be able to get updates on it? I'm mainly asking because my latest security patch is in January, and I haven't received any updates. And with pie getting released in the coming weeks or so, I'd hate to be stuck on oreo. and no, it isn't unlocked. thanks in advance!

As long as there's a release for the ATT model specifically, yes, you'd get it. Depending on how ATT is doing their updates, however (they used to lock those to using an AT&T SIM only), you might not be able to download it via OTA and you might need Wi-Fi or a computer to update.

When I switched my V30 from Verizon to Total Wireless, I wasn't getting updates. I had to connect it to my computer and download a program onto my computer to do the updates. I just updated to Android Pie the other day.
