Will the tab2 10.1 run jellybean

The shops are starting to sell off the old model tabs cheap and I'm tempted but I'm used to jellybean from my phone and want to run it on the tablet which is sold with ice cream sandwich. So first off is it possible with only 1gb of ram? And if it is how do I do it? Also not sure if it will make any real difference cos I'll most likely be running go launcher on the tablet as I do on my phone

Yes, you can upgrade the Galaxy Tab 2 to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. When you first set up an internet connection, it will automatically notify you that a system update is available.

Mine was updated to Jelly Bean a few weeks ago and runs very good. I have the AT&T model which has a slighty "better" cpu.
