Yahoo Mail notification shade missing "Mark as Read" option.

This has gone on for awhile but I finally decided to post now. Has anyone else using the Yahoo Mail app noticed there is no longer a "Mark as Read" option in the Notification shade anymore? Instead, there are 2 "Delete" options (see attached screen shot).

I've already uninstalled/reinstalled the Yahoo Mail app but that didn't fix it. Any ideas on what's going on here? I really miss the "Mark as Read" option (yes, it was there before), and I want it back. Thanks!

I still have mine there

Long press the app then tapp info ,scroll to notifications and tap make sure all are toggle on ?

Wow, now this is weird. I just changed to a Pixel 4 and the Yahoo Mail app has the exact same issue.

Same thing on my Galaxy Tab S6. When it also happened on the Pixel 4, I thought it might be a T-Mobile thing but my Tab S6 is WiFi only.

I didn't find anything yet so strange

Added what the problem that the notification shade is actually having in the title. I would contact the app developer that there's a goof in their app and see if they will address the issue.

Although I considered contacting them, and I appreciate your suggestion, unfortunately I believe it would be just a waste of time. However, I did leave a review for the app in the Play Store. Maybe someone will offer some feedback there.

Shot in the dark, but what if you uninstall updates to Android System Webview, in case the most recent update is causing some glitches?

SOLVED: Clearing the cache and data in the Yahoo Mail app did the job. I tried clearing cache only before, but this time also clearing the data fixed my problem. Thanks for the suggestions.

The options presented in the notification bar are dependent on your "swipe options" within the Yahoo app. If you change one of those to "mark as read", you will have the option to do so in the notification bar as well. [I have attached photos on how to do so]
