ZAGG does make case friendly ones where the protector is cut more inwards so that the sides of cases do not rub up on it. I believe the HD is cut like that, but you'll have to read up on it to confirm.

There is a tempered glass screen protector and it has been amazing so far for me. Case friendly, scratch resistant, and smooth glass to the touch.
